FS, the most underused mountain bike in Tokyo.
Santa Cruz Blur LT, Size Large, bought new in 2007. It's done....maybe 200km. Probably closer to 150. All on road, mostly on the street tires/wheels
Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur
Shimano Deore LX front derailleur
Avid Juicy brakes
Fox Float...
FS, INNO INA383 Fork Lock 2 bike racks. There are 2.
Bought new less than 2 years ago. These fit wide aero-bars if you have those (this is why I bought this model). 4 allen screws to attach each. Keys lock down access to front fork attachment area.
No issues with them at all. Some rust around...
So, my Edge 800 seems to be starting to flake out. Don't think it's totally done, but getting there.
Altimeter seems to not be doing so well.... Perhaps was the heavy rain in Indonesia? Was sorta-ok on Arakawa, I guess. But that's more or less flat. Plug for USB is a bit irritating.
Thinking...
Chuck is in town and he and I will be out for beers Saturday. Aiming for Shibuya, likely Goodbeer Faucets or Aldgate or something like that. (basically somewhere with some good food and great beer).
Lemme know if anyone else is up for it, can attempt to plan something.
We'll discuss bicycles...
Before I explore wiggle returns, any interest in these domestically? They are a tad big for me.
Size 44 / 10EU / 11US / 29cm.
New with tags. Paid over 100GBP. Would like 12,000 obo. I can probably deliver locally, outside of that ask. Could probably arrange a meet up if you'd like to try them on.
So I plugged in my 800 after my ride today, it starts up and starts looking for satellites. Hmm. Not what usually happens....
Try another USB plug. Same.
Try another computer. Same same.
crap.
Tried various forms of wiggling and re-doing ad jamming tissues in there to make sure it's OK...
I have worn this on one short ride to quickly discover.... it is just too big for me.
Bought it a year ago or so, hadn't worn it till recently. Not so much around me that is too big, that's sorta ok, if a bit big. It's just quite long. And has a bit more stretch when pockets have stuff in...
I'm starting to look into a new saddle. The one I've got came with my bike, it's a San Marco somethingoranother. Apparently it is meant to be pretty good. Though one cycling person/mechanic looked at it once and commented that it doesn't look so comfortable (for long rides). Which I guess it...
I've not had tubular tires before, wondering how people work with them in a couple of cases.
1. Tires mounted on wheel. I've got some Vittoria corsecxsomethingoranother which seem to have latex tubes, so they obviously lose pressure relatively quickly. I don't/won't use these as daily riders...
All,
I slapped up a rear wheel off Yahoo, some Fulcrum 7 or something, meant to work with shimano 10 speed. I tried getting my old Ultegra 10 sp cassette on it, but the lock ring doesn't fit at all.
Are there different lock rings across the Shimano line? Or I suppose including SRAM? The...
My Cadence/speed monitor seems to be going a bit off.... curious what folks here have for battery life of these things. Not even been a year with it. But the last couple rides are registering speeds that are all out of whack, getting the auto-resume showing up while riding, etc. Cadence seems...
For fun for those who are interested.....

I spotted what looked to be the new TCC kit in southern England while on my Wiggle ride. this was at my mile marker 66.something km, I was heading west on Droxford Road, you were heading east on it, then went right on Hyden Farm lane.
I yelled something like Hey TCC or something and turned...
I put one of those park tools emergency tire boots in a tire following a puncture and then swapping front/rear tires. Now the boot is on the front.
The tire has a 4mm, maybe 5mm cut in it which is where the boot comes in. Should I be changing tires ASAP or do ppl ride with the boot for a bit?
Was looking to see if anyone had a good looping route around the Urabandai area. Been up there on a motorcycle a fair bit but haven't had to think about making a nice loop out of it and still rideable.
I have seen some segments through some of the ride tracking tools, I would definitely like...
I'm struggling to take a ridden activity and mess with it to create a new route.
Currently staring at RideWithGPS.
Anybody know which one of these online gigs does this the best? (or at all?)
