I finally got round to fitting the new front rack on my frankenbike shopping bike.

It rides like a warthog with a big load up front, but it means that once Tamasakai Coscto opens again I'll be able to pile even more stuff on it. It's also going to be handy for hauling sacks of soil home from the garden centre.

Though the wood looks nice, it's heavy & needed padding to stop things clunking around. 340g of wood and screws replaced with some foam and handful of zip ties. :)

The rack is a Gamoh King. Stylish, but heavy as hell - and not really recommended unless your bike is going to have a very SPECIALIZED purpose. :weight:

Not what I was hoping to see:mad: "Nice utilitarian front" would be less tantalizing.
