Should be perfectly ride-able again by changing the chains, wires, tyres and tubes. Will not/cannot deliver. Must come to my place to pickup. Ignore the Best Offer asking price above; the only price you'll have to pay is transportation to my place (Fuchu). Send me a PM. http://vlaamsewielrenner.blogspot.com/2009/09/oldies.html Another(last one!) carbon bike to go....COLNAGO CLX Size 480S http://www.tokyocycle.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=90&title=another-28last-one-21-29-carbon-bike-to-gocolnago-clx-size-480s&cat=1 Wed, 25 Mar 2009 17:34:43 +0900

by: TOM

Description: Carbon Monocoque frame; Frame Size = 480S (height up to 174 cm no problem) with aerodynamic carbon seatpost. The last carbon bike leaving my fleet ! Was purchased new only 2 years ago at Friend Syokai in February 2007, the year when Colnago first launched the CLX. Has a compact crank (FSA carbon team edition) and upgraded mix of Shimano Dura-Ace (front and rear derailleurs) and Ultegra (shifters, brakes and pedals) components. Condition is absolutely flawless. Will use one last time on May 23 (Tokyo-Itoigawa Fast Run Classic) and would preferably like to close deal on May 30 (Sat). Will come as pictured (less clip-on aerobars) with black Fulcrum Racing 3 wheels purchased only one year ago, original FSA Carbon Pro OS170 stem, white San Marco logo saddle, white Schwalbe Stelvio tyres and white cork bartape. Best offer should be higher than 20-man. Excellent review here: http://www.roadcyclinguk.com/news/article/mps/UAN/2212/v/1/sp/ The CLX is designed as a no compromise race bike – as fast as it is comfortable. Like the Extreme Power, the CLX has stiffening ribs that run along the top tube and down tube. The difference is that the stiffening ribs of the CLX are on the exterior of the frame, adding to the unique visual appeal of the bike. Its aero seat tube and seat post matched with the oversized bottom bracket emphasize the race heritage of the CLX. Elegantly curved seat stays and Colnago’s leaf chain stays increase braking power, power transfer and comfort. Condition is really excellent - always kept indoor and waxed after every single ride, no scratches whatsoever on the frame (but some wear and tear on the brake levers, pedals and rear derailleur). Beautiful paintwork in pristine condition. Bike was overhauled and fine-tuned as recent as last month and is race-ready in current condition. The only minus point is that with the current compact crank setup, the front derailleur clamp partly covers the bottom hole of the two holes where the bottle cage attaches. When you change to a normal crankset (with derailleur clamp moving higher up the seat post), however, the bottom hole will become free again allowing you to attach a bottle cage on the seat post as well. Featuring a mix of Shimano Ultegra (compact crankset, pedals) and Campagnolo Veloce components (shifters and cassette is Campagnolo Veloce). Front wheel is silver Aksium Race and back wheel is silver Campagnolo Zonda. New bar tape and Michelin Krylion Carbon tyres have been put on only recently. Sloping frame size is 48 (top tube 520) and therefore suited for smaller riders (I'd say up to height 170cm) or female riders (my daughter rode it last year) if stem is changed to a shorter one and saddle post to a straight (not off-set) type. Included in my asking price is an extra sturdy training wheel (Aksium Race) with special Continental tyre designed for the hometrainer. This 2006 model Onix uses the same high quality Toray T700 carbon fiber found in more expensive bikes, and is shaped by Orbea’s proprietary Size Specific Nerve technology to yield a comfortable yet responsive ride. The 2009 model retails at around 320,000 yen as a complete bike and at 226,000 yen for the frameset. Most recent large-size picture on my blog: http://vlaamsewielrenner.blogspot.com/2008/12/slippery.html Except for the stem, seatpost and saddle (which I am keeping and swapping back for the original stem, seatpost and saddle) this is the condition in which I am selling my Onix. Why am I selling this time? I still got 2 more great bikes and my daughter has left the country...(+ my new love is ti and steel)... Feel free to ask more details.日本語でもOKです。 Offer becoming valid as from Saturday May 2 (first day of the GW - not selling before that date) BD-1 (a.k.a. Geometry does not fit my wife for whom this bike was initially intended (arm reach too far for her) + I'm too busy riding my road bikes...it has just been sitting there under my desk for months in a row....
