I was doing a ride today and flatted twice. After deciding there was a reason to this and not just bad luck, I looked at my tire and noticed that the first puncture went through the side wall and some loose, frayed wire strands caused the second puncture.

Long story short, I need a new tire. Any recommendations of a shop near Sagamihara or Machida? I have no car and with my bike out of commission, it would have to be close to a train station. Also, I'm illiterate when it comes to reading Japanese (in terms of road signs or directions) so if you could send me a map link of where the store is I would greatly appreciate it.

There's one at the Machida JR/Odakyu station just behind the 109 'department store,' no more than a minute, even with my short legs. It's called Itoi something or other and you can't miss it as they display some bikes on the outside. The spare parts are on B1 and they don't charge the full MRSP on everything like some others.

I'm on a business trip right now and the photo map is from my mobile taken from an issue of Sports Cyclist - I should know better copyright etc, etc...

Thanks so much for the information. I will definitely go and check it out. You have saved my riding for the summer :)

    A few more.

    Itoi, Sagami ono

Chibacycle, near Itoi, in Sagami ono.
Sister shop to the Trek store. Very small, but very 'homey'.

Not my cup of tea. A bit 'stuck up'.

Cherubim, technically Machida, but several miles from the center.
A legend. Near my home, but I am not a roadie ...
