For Sale WTB Campagnolo rims, or just rear

My rear wheel has developed a crack at the base of the brake track on the inside of the rim :( The rim bulges slightly outward and pulses under braking. It's had the bulge ever since I bought it (8 years ago!) but the crack seems to be newish, or at least I never noticed it before.

Some people have told me it's unfixable so I guess I need to buy new rims.

Anyone have a set they want to part with, or just a rear?

Using it with a Campagnolo chain/cassette.

The components are irrelevant for rims.
Campy is only important if also looking for a rear hub.
The important info here is the number of spokes.

If you are looking for a wheelset, I have a campy wheelset I have toyed with selling, but have not put a price on them.
Anodized red ambrosio rims with older Campy hubs - I would just want to ensure it is a fair deal for both myself and a buyer.

Can you build the wheel up yourself? If not it might be easier to get your LBS to do it for you. Chances are if you buy just a rim you'll need to buy new spokes as well unless you get the exact same rim which if it's a proprietary wheel might be a touch tricky. What is the wheelset you are using?

Thanks for the replies

My wheels are Campagnolo Khamsin G3's. None of the spokes are bent and the wheels are undamaged otherwise - just the rear rim has a small split/crack forming at the base of the inside of the brake track. It may have been responsible for a flat tire I experienced last week, but I have ridden that rim for almost 8 years without issue, so I dunno.

I have been out of bike-maintenance for many years so have forgotten a lot of the technical stuff about cycling unfortunately. I have some tools somewhere at my house in the countryside but getting out there is a bit of a trek so if possible I'd like to just swap out the wheel and be done with it, I will just take off the cassette and hub and put it on the new wheel if it'll work with the current campagnolo stuff I have installed.

IIRC I have a Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed cassette and hub on the rear wheel now.

Bloaker, what kind of price would you be looking for for those wheels? I assume they'll work with the tires I've got on there now?

Thanks!

I will pull them out of the box and give them a fair assessment and message you tonight.
They also most likely have a set of Continental GP4000s on them and I will also look to see if I have a 10 speed cassette laying around.
Good chance I will have something that you can just pop on the bike.

Found them.
Campy 32h. I cannot confirm, however they are consistent with what I have found online for Chorus Hubs.
12-23 10sp Cassette (the one in the picture is an 11sp), Conti gp4000s 700x23 tires

Sorry for the crappy pics, I have to go pick up my daughter and didn't check them to ensure quality before I put them back in the box.

What kinda price you looking for bloaker?

I'm still in the market. I saw the used wheel a kind poster listed above, but it's in "C" grade which might mean it has the same problems my current wheel does, i.e. thin brake walls or bulging.

I may end up needing a second set of wheels anyway since someone gifted me a bicycle for my girlfriend to use - she likes thick tires so I may take them for that.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

In the end, I decided to buy myself a new bicycle since a set of new wheels and even good used wheels was going to cost 20,000+ tax and shipping. I ended up buying a 2015 Bianchi Nirone 7 for 60,000 instead and will be retiring my Roadman to indoor exercise use, lending to friends and retro rides.
